Malalai Joya with Pablo Bustinduy in charge of International Relation from Podemos

On May 24, 2016 Malalai Joya had a meeting with some leadership members of PODEMOS (we can) party in Madrid. Podemos is one of the biggest political groups in Spain led by progressive youth and it is expected to secure a great victory in the upcoming elections in Spain.

In the meeting, Joya discussed the disastrous political and social conditions of Afghanistan and shared her point of view with them. Joya also presented a real picture of Afghanistan under the occupation of US/NATO and hoped that Podemos will change the policy of the current government which is based on following the colonial agenda of the US and supporting Afghan warlords and criminals.

At the end of the meeting they extended their support to freedom-loving forces of Afghanistan and promised to Joya: “Never feel alone, millions of justices-loving and peace-loving people of the world support you and are with you…”
